This car was on eBay in March 2002. Here is the seller's description: THIS IS A 1969 CHECKER TAXI LIMOUSINE. I acquired this out of a local restaurant where the doors have been closed forever here in the Columbus ohio area! I remember this car 25 years ago when they first opened up. I deal with antiques for a business and acquire many things, but I never dreamed I would one day OWN THIS WILD ELEPHANT BAR TAXI LIMO!! All I can say is that it is neat. This is 22 ft. long. This was made into a stretch limo here in Columbus OH. I gurantee clear and free title on it. The paint on the outside was done by a local artist/radio announcer. It is signed on the back by the artist and the waz. They used this for many years. It was called the African Safari Elephant tour bus. WOW, When it came down the road, you could sure see it coming!! I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE THE NEW OWNER THAT THIS WOULD BE THE TALK OF THE TOWN, AND WILL HAVE THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTANCE. How many times do you see an eight door 22 foot long checker taxi. Four of the windows have cracks in them. It does not have an actual key. It will need restoration on body. It does start, but will not stay running. We do have the tail lite.
